A deeper look at cut off culture

Cut off culture is not abandonment, it is the sacred return to alignment, peace, and the woman God created you to be.

The world heard cut off and thought I meant people.

They pictured blocked numbers, cold hearts, slammed doors, and women walking away with no prayer, no tenderness, no accountability, no love.

But that was never the spirit of this movement.

#CutOffCulture is not a celebration of abandonment. It is not permission to ghost every person who disappoints you. It is not a weapon for the ego to use when it feels embarrassed, rejected, or exposed.

It is a sacred practice of discernment.

It is the moment you stop betraying your spirit to keep an attachment alive. It is the decision to cut off the performance, the begging, the overexplaining, the shrinking, the proving, the agreement that love must cost you your peace.

Sometimes a person leaves your life because the tie was unhealthy. Sometimes you leave because staying would require you to abandon yourself. And sometimes, the deeper work is not cutting the person off at all.

Sometimes the work is cutting off the version of you who believed chaos was chemistry.

The version of you who mistook anxiety for intuition.

The version of you who called inconsistency a challenge instead of a warning.

The version of you who kept offering sacred access to people who only knew how to consume, not cherish.

This is where the movement becomes holy ground.

Because cutting off in love means you do not have to hate someone to release them. You do not have to make them the villain to choose your healing. You do not have to rewrite the whole story as evil just because the ending asked you to evolve.

Some people were lessons. Some were mirrors. Some were seasons. Some were soul ties that showed you the places inside yourself still waiting to be held.

And if we are honest, many of the people we say we need to cut off are reflecting an agreement we made with ourselves long before they arrived.

An agreement to settle.

An agreement to be chosen at any cost.

An agreement to silence the body when it trembles, to quiet the spirit when it whispers, to ignore the mind when it knows.

Alignment asks for more truth than blame can hold.

This is not me giving biblical instruction. This is my personal spiritual reflection from the path I walk with God, with my own soul, and with the women I witness returning to themselves. I believe divine love does not require us to live in bondage to dysfunction. I believe peace is not weakness. I believe boundaries can be an altar when they are built with clean hands.

Before you cut someone off, ask yourself what you are really being invited to cut off.

Is it the person, or the fantasy?

Is it the relationship, or the fear of being alone?

Is it the conversation, or the need to be understood by someone committed to misunderstanding you?

Is it the connection, or the part of you still negotiating with disrespect because it feels familiar?

This does not mean you stay where harm is happening. Love does not ask you to keep bleeding to prove you are good. There are moments when distance is wisdom. There are relationships where no contact is the cleanest form of peace. There are doors that close because your nervous system could not become free while they remained open.

But even then, the deeper invitation is not bitterness.

It is liberation.

It is learning how to leave without poisoning your own heart. It is blessing what taught you and refusing to keep worshiping what wounded you. It is allowing grief to move through the body without turning it into identity.

Cutting off in love sounds like this:

I release the agreement that I must disappear to be loved.

I release the guilt that rises when I choose peace.

I release the need to punish what I am being called to outgrow.

I release the soul tie, the story, the cycle, and the version of me that confused attachment with destiny.

I come back to myself with tenderness.

That is the heart of #CutOffCulture.

Not isolation. Alignment.

Not revenge. Restoration.

Not a hard heart. A healed one with gates.

May you cut off what keeps cutting into your spirit, and may love meet you gently on the way home.

Keep going
